An Uber driver was shot during what police described as a road rage incident late Thursday night. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the incident started around 11 p.m. near 46th Street and Evanston and ended at 42nd and College.
A man who was found suffering an apparent gunshot wound on the porch of an east-side home has died, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police. IMPD officers were sent on a report of a person shot to a residence in the 40 block of Hendricks Place just after 11 a.m. Thursday, an IMPD release. They found a man on a front porch who appeared to have been shot.

Firefighters are working a fire at a business in Roseland. The fire started just after 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Fat Cap Smoked Meats on South Dixie Way. This is just north of Douglas Road.
Authorities in Hancock County are at the scene of a traffic fatality Wednesday night. At around 9:45, deputies were dispatched to the area of SR 67 and CR 900 N. on the report of a two-vehicle accident. One person is dead following the accident and another person was transported by air ambulance.

Muncie police are investigating a person who was shot just after midnight Tuesday morning. According to police, the victim was walking in the area of Macedonia and E. 18th, just south of Ball Corporation Park, when he was approached by another person who confronted him and then proceeded to shoot him. Police report that no type of robbery or other assault occurred.
Police have a man in custody after four gas station robberies within five hours. The Fort Wayne Police Department said the robberies happened between 7:56 Sunday night and 12:34 Monday morning at four gas stations in Fort Wayne.
