Indiana State Police are investigating a double homicide that happened in Aurora Saturday morning. Police found the two bodies around 10 p.m. Friday night about two dead bodies found at 5033 Douglas Drive, dispatch said.

An early Sunday morning fire rips through a vacant home on the near east side. Shortly after 12:30 a.m., the Indianapolis Fire Department was called out to the 500 block of North Tacoma Avenue on reports of a two-story house fire. Once they arrived on the scene, IFD labeled the fire as a defensive fire only.

Police say two people are dead in southeastern Indiana, apparently victims of a homicide. The bodies of a male and a female were discovered Friday night at a house in Aurora in Dearborn County, 30 miles west of Cincinnati. The bodies were found after the county sheriff's department was asked to check on the welfare of the pair.
An early Sunday morning shooting leaves one man in serious condition on the near northwest side. Around 2 a.m., police say a man in his 50’s was returning home from a neighborhood bar when he was shot in the abdomen. This happened in the 1400 block of West 28th Street, as the man was getting out of his vehicle in front of his home.

Police say a 33-year-old woman is critically injured after a stray bullet went through a wall in her house. According to authorities, a gun battle took place in the parking lot of a strip mall on 34th Street, between Donald and Georgetown.
Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting that left one woman dead, and two other people hurt early Sunday morning.
