Police are investigating the apparent shooting death of a man on the northeast side Thursday morning. Just after 6:30 a.m., police were called to 2859 North Stuart Street, which is near Washington Park, and found the man lying in the front yard with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Medics responded and pronounced him dead there.
