IMPD confirms a man was sent to the hospital in critical condition after a driver hit him with a vehicle and then fled the scene. officers were sent out to 16th and Kessler just before 3 am after a passerby found the victim. WB 16th is blocked

IMPD: Expect the 16th St / MLK intersection to be blocked for some time while officers work the scene
IMPD: Officers believe a driver was approaching the 16th / MLK intersection when they had some type of medical emergency, causing them to run the red light. A 2nd driver in a red pickup then hit the 1st car. Medics were called for everyone involved, but sadly the 1st driver died
