Detectives are working to find out what happened inside of the Laurel St apartment. This is being treated as a death investigation, not a homicide. A police chaplain was brought in to help comfort and aid family members who are here at the scene
IMPD: Officers were called to an apartment on Laurel St (near Shelby & Troy) around 3:15a. The woman was found, medics were brought in, and she was declared deceased here at the scene. Multiple juveniles were inside of the home at the time, and a gun was found as well
